Wow, what a year! As 2024 comes to a close, we here at the ISC2 New Jersey Chapter are taking a moment to reflect on all the amazing things we’ve accomplished together.
We’re still buzzing from being recognized as the World’s Best Community by ISC2 – talk about an honor! This award truly validates the hard work and dedication of our incredible members.
But it’s not just about the accolades. What really drives us is the passion we all share for cybersecurity. We’re a community of like-minded individuals who are committed to making the digital world a safer place.
Whether it’s through our monthly meetings, professional development workshops, or community outreach programs, we’re always striving to make a difference.
And with the holidays just around the corner, we’re already feeling the festive spirit and looking ahead to an even bigger and better 2025! We have some exciting plans in the works, so stay tuned for updates on upcoming events and initiatives.

The ISC2 New Jersey Chapter is a 501(c)3 public charity who provides members a forum to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and ideas, development of leadership and professional skills, and advancement of information systems security.

HOW DO I BECOME A MEMBER?

DO I NEED A CERTIFICATION TO BECOME A MEMBER?
Anyone can be a member as long as they have a passion for Cyber Security and sharing their knowledge.
HOW DO I SUBMIT CPE’S?
Forms for submission are provided to active attendees only. Once membership information is validated. CPE’s are submitted on your behalf.
HOW LONG DO CPE’S TAKE?
CPE’s can take up to 30 days to actively register within your account. Please ensure that you read the ISC2 members guide and policies regarding your CPE’s.
HOW ARE CHAPTER MEETINGS CONDUCTED?
Chapter meetings are permanently virtual to ensure that everyone can attend in the comfort of their own home, office, or wherever you want.
WHAT IF I CAN’T MAKE A MEETING?
That’s OK. You are not required to attend chapter meetings. However, attendance is required to obtain CPE’s that count toward your certification CPE’s.

ISC2 Announces 2024 Global Achievement Awards Recipients
ISC2 PROGRAM AWARDS
– ISC2 – the world’s leading nonprofit member organization for cybersecurity professionals – today announced recipients of its 2024 ISC2 Global Achievement Awards, honoring individuals who have made significant contributions to the cybersecurity field, furthering ISC2’s vision of a safe and secure cyber world.
“These cybersecurity professionals are at the forefront of mitigating threats and protecting critical information systems to keep our societies safe and secure around the world,” said ISC2 EVP, Advocacy, Global Markets and Member Engagement, Tara Wisniewski. “The ISC2 Global Achievement Awards provide an opportunity to celebrate and recognize the remarkable contributions of both individuals and ISC2 Chapters as they shape the future of the cybersecurity profession.”
The awards fall into several categories, including Special Recognition, Professional and Chapter and the Center for Cyber Safety and Education.

ISC2 Chapter Recognition Awards are presented to official chapters of ISC2 within a specific region that best promotes the vision of ISC2 by inspiring a safe and secure cyber world.
The chapter must demonstrate a well-rounded offering of activities and services designed to benefit its members and affiliates while significantly contributing to the profession and local community through the ISC2 Chapter Program of Connect, Educate, Inspire and Secure.

Monthly Meetings
As a member you have free access to our live chapter meetings where we have multi-disciplinary speakers address a wide range of topics from cyber security to privacy with relevance to current events.
Mentorship
We have a specialized mentor programs featuring 1-on-1 mentorship between members called Jumpstart Mentorship Program (JuMP) that links seasoned veterans to those new to the industry or looking to benefit their career. Gain insight and network with great individuals from your aspiring field.
Our members also have an opportunity to share their knowledge through iQ4 (link) where they will mentor students (high school – college) who are seeking to enter the Cyber Security field.
Public Speaking
Our chapter holds an exclusive and unique public speaking workshop that consists of formal and impromptu speaking opportunities in a safe and fun setting to allow members the opportunity to improve their public speaking skills.
Special Events
Gain access to exclusive events both virtual and in person for free (or at a reduced rate for some events) to meet your fellow members, dive into more topics, and have some fun!
