The Move Towards a Digital, Sustainable, and Resilient Future
The Annual Investment Meeting organized by the Ministry of Economy, UAE, which is Under the Patronage of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai was conducted between October 20-22. I was also invited to the event as panelist.
This year’s virtual conference’s theme ‘Reimagining Economies – The Move Towards a Digital, Sustainable, and Resilient Future’ has attracted over 15,000 delegates from 170+ countries.
We talked how cybercriminals have shifted their focus to home networks as millions of employees now work remotely. The pandemic is also a wake-up call for cybersecurity professionals to go back to basics – approach cybersecurity holistically by looking across strategic, management and operational perspectives.
We also covered IoT security, social engineering, and other topics. Resilience, creativity, flexibility, agility – all the hallmarks of a successful startup apply when managing cyber risk in the new normal too.
